Before I met Kelsey and began taking lessons with her, I was really struggling to figure out what I wanted to do career wise.  I had always had a deep connection/passion to film and acting but never pursued it due to fear; fear of what others would think and fear of failure.  Since taking lessons with Kelsey, my confidence has soared and I have never felt more in tune with who I am and what I want for my future. Last year I signed with a local agency and have landed several roles in local film/projects! My goal is to move to Atlanta, pursue bigger roles and live the life of my dreams.  

 I did not just learn the tools to be a great actor, but also how to set reachable goals. I also enjoyed going to class! Kelsey is patient, so much fun, and really wants to see her students achieve their dreams. She has been a huge influence on my success as a professional actor and I encourage anyone looking to succeed in that field to seek her out! 

I can't thank Kelsey enough for not only being my coach, but being my mentor and an amazing friend. She is the reason that I haven't given up and will continue to work hard for my dream. 

 I decided to take a chance on her program to break out of my comfort zone. Originally, I thought maybe I would learn about voice over work and different acting techniques. However, Kelsey has changed my life forever. 

I used to not feel comfortable showing certain emotions such as anger, sadness, and vulnerability. Kelsey pushed me to tap into those emotions. These lessons allowed me to feel safe to express myself in real life.

From always encouraging me to pushing me to pursue opportunities that I didn’t know were possible to even praying for me. 

Because of her, I found it in my heart to forgive people who hurt me and made me feel less than human when I was going through my darkest moments. Because of her, I found it in my heart to forgive myself for thinking that my life wasn’t worth living. Because of her, I realize that I am attractive both internally and externally. Because of her, I love life and all of its positive possibilities. 

I know your acting school is called Reflect the Dream, and everyday it feels like I’m reflecting my dreams and pursuing my dreams. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you Kelsey! Not only are you my forever acting coach, but I consider you my friend. 

 Before I had enrolled in RTD, I was indecisive about my career path and where I truly wanted to be. I always dreamed of becoming an actor and being in films and TV shows.  I wanted to be in movies such as Batman or anything with superheroes.  

 Yet those things never happened and the dream became covered for so long that I had forgotten about it.

Then the Lord led me to Kelsey. I remember that zoom call to this day as it is what truly started my journey. 

She showed me how to believe in myself and to know that I CAN do this.

Kelsey helped mold me and teach me to be a better actor. Her class teaches you things that you can’t find on your own. With helpful masterclasses that not only teach you the foundation of acting but also help create a foundation for your mind. It truly has been a wonderful experience being a student under her. With the knowledge and experience I have gained, I can say that I made the right choice. I am thankful to Kelsey Jimenez for believing in me and her continuous support even when the program is finished!  Thanks to Kelsey, I have the confidence and determination that was not there before! I am an ACTOR!
